Scenic Project Manager (Live Events)
South East London, United Kingdom
WHAT’S UP FOR GRABS?
We’re on the hunt for a Scenic Project Manager – someone to translate event scenic designs and concept ideas for manufacture, and manage a number of projects from manufacture to onsite installation.
Our client is big on collaborative and multi-team communication – so rather than a lone wolf with a list of extensive, elaborate skills and labour experience, the missing piece they’re looking for is also a team player at heart and an unabashed creative. It’s a role that demands someone who is happiest working on creative briefs and handling evolving ideas as each project develops.
IS IT FOR ME?
Are you a technical creative looking to upscale? Expand your experience and knowledge; tackle bigger builds with that hefty set of skills?
Is it important you work somewhere with a culture of openness and a safe, inclusive environment - where everyone’s lived experiences matter and consistently add value to a creative business? Do you want to work with people who align with your own values towards sustainability, doing more with less without sacrificing quality or creation?
This company creates kickass events that know how to engage and stimulate the senses and emotions – and you only get that by incorporating humanity at every step of the production line.
WHAT DOES IT NEED ON PAPER?
- Proven experience in film, exhibition or theatre build teams and production
- Previous experience as a Scenic Project Manager
- Vectorworks/ AutoCAD / SketchUp Proficiency
- Experience with Project Management Tools such as Monday
- A strong understanding of scenic construction methods and materials
- The capacity to manage multiple scenic projects at a time
