Workshop Manager

North London based Technical Production Company who provide creative bespoke production solutions to a wide range of prestigious live events have a stimulating brand new position. You will be joining a lively, benevolent team who work hard but understand that a good sense of humour is essential in a fast paced environment.

As workshop manager you will be responsible for managing all aspects of operation within the workshop environment. This will include liaising with Scene Project managers to ensure timely construction of scenic elements. Providing leadership and management to workshop staff, managing workflow and adapting schedules to suit production requirements.

You will need to have strong carpentry skills, operating specific items of machinery such as a CNC machine, be able to interpret working drawings and briefs accurately. You must be able to deliver bespoke scene elements to a very high standard. A background in scenic carpentry is essential.
