Venue Production Technician

You will enjoy being part of a small in-house technical team in this exciting new London venue. You'll be managing the technical of assets and be able to utilize your full technical skills in the areas of AV, lighting, sound, staging and rigging.

Enjoying flexing your natural personal communication skills will play a major part in your role, and you will be working closely with the in-house venues sales and operations teams. You will also be the first point of call for technical support to clients during delivery of their event, setting up and operating technical systems for them (sometimes to a tight schedule!). 

Your experience of both small to large-scale event formats will be much appreciated, as will your people management skills, and your practical technical understanding of the latest production tech.

 

Key skills and experience include:

•Setup and management of technical production equipment: operation of audio, video/data, lighting and sound control equipment (including digital mixers, microphones and recording devices)

•Face to face client liaison responsibilities including greeting clients and the setup and configuration of client presentations

•Liaison with project managers, suppliers and subcontractors, and other departments including the supervision of freelance crew - often giving direction for setup and delivery

•Use of asset management software, and organisation of on-site equipment as well as first line technical troubleshooting - and an excellent understanding of Powerpoint & Keynote! (Experience with Crestron systems operation would be great if you have it, as would live streaming!)
