Venues Account Manager

Are you working in the Events Production industry and looking for a senior client facing role as an Account Manager in the AV & Events industry? One that gives you the opportunity to develop a business and brand throughout an organisation and across multiple venues?

A rapidly expanding and diversifying Technical Solutions company is looking for an Account Manager to lead and grow their already major corporate AV and Venues account. Your skill & ability will nurture business relationships and create strong partnerships with client venues, which will develop and allow the brand to grow, taking it beyond just the event services at the venue.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

·Liaison with clients, attend client meetings and show rounds.

·Preparation and administration proposals including the sourcing, quotations and responsibility for billing for Audio Visual equipment, Events etc.

·Liaison with venue sales departments, reporting and strategy development.

·Creation of 2D floor plans, set designs and additional supporting document for proposals.

·Proven IT skills, including use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access applications and PowerPoint). Working knowledge of an internal e-mail system and electronic diary is essential.

·Previous experience of multi-level quotations and proposals including supporting documents such as floor plans and set designs

You must have previous experience in a technical Venue Sales role, or be an Account Manager within the AV Industry, and financial acumen and commercial awareness. This, together with your awareness of venue service provision & practical event  practice will ensure profitability of event delivery.
