Finance Director

We are working exclusively with an exciting, expanding Live Events production company. The company is now in the next stage of expansion and as such requires a Finance Director to take control of the financial function of the organisation. This will involve working closely with the Managing Director and board of directors, planning and executing the financial strategy as the organisation moves into the next phase of its development, which includes international growth.

There is an established and successful financial team who manage the daily financial tasks and, as Finance Director, you will oversee this department as well as working closely with the organisation’s external accountants and auditors. Your ability to convey complex financial issues to non-financial colleagues will be highly valued, as will your experience of implementing and managing system change.

You will enjoy utilizing your ability to switch from the daily micro-detail to a helicopter strategy view, and as Finance Director, you will have full understanding, with the ability to explain, the end to end business impact of proposals, ideas and solutions. Essential Requirements:

ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified.

At least 5 years of post-qualified experience in a similar role.

Commercially astute, dynamic, articulate and technically strong.

An influential leader with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.

High integrity and openness combined with a commitment to good governance.

Experience in Standard Costing.

Experience of working for an SME during high growth.

Experience in Multisite International businesses.

Demonstrable experience of building and developing finance teams.

In-depth knowledge of Sage.
